Located at 625 Grant St, Akron, OH 44311, Tandoori Kabobs operates as an indian restaurant serving Akron in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Akron, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Ohio run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (234) 678-0196. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, clover.com.

Take out only, no table service. We ordered at the window and it took about 15 minutes to prepare the food. We had both the butter chicken and the chicken vindaloo. Both came with a generous portion if rice. The food is more suited to American tastes as I thought the spice level of both dishes could have been elevated. Also, you can choose your heat level of each dish. The counter person was friendly. As far as atmosphere, this is just a pick up window with a single chair, so pretty spartan.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tandoori Kabobs in Akron. The menu pricing for the Lamb Seekh Kabob was completely inconsistent and misleading. The online menu shows the Lamb Seekh Kabob priced at $14.99, while the physical menu displayed at the restaurant lists it as $17.99. However, when I received the receipt after ordering, I was actually charged $18.99. Having three different prices for the exact same item is extremely confusing and feels deceptive. Customers should not have to guess what the real price will be until after they pay. This kind of pricing inconsistency raises serious concerns about transparency and fair business practices. Beyond the pricing issue, the value simply didn’t match the cost. Paying nearly $19 for a 4 little pieces of lamb seekh kabob dish is already high, but charging more than what is advertised makes the experience even worse. The staff also admitted that kebobs are not made in the kitchen and they come frozen for them just to warm up in a microwave. Businesses should honor the prices they advertise or clearly update their menus. Until the pricing becomes honest and consistent, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Be careful and check

Excellent Indian takeout. The naan is delicious and so many flavors to choose. My son got the butter chicken β€œIndian hot” and devoured it. The tikka masala is by far the best I’ve had locally.

This is the best Authentic Indian restaurants in the Akron area. Every take out order is made fresh. They also offer custom catering. Appetizers, main dishes sides and drinks. Mango lassi is spot on. The chai is one of the best. Please see the recent article. Highly recommend

This no-frills Indian takeout spot, while appearing unassumingβ€”you might even question if you're in the right placeβ€”is a go-to place for the flavorful authentic food. We walked in to place the order and then came back to pick up our food in 15 minutes. But i think ordering online for pickup is definitely the better way to go. Portions are generous for the price, though be aware that the tandoori kebobs mix might not perfectly match its description; my order only had one kebob and lacked the promised 'bed of onions and green peppers'. Despite minor discrepancies, the delicious food makes it a worthwhile stop for a quick and tasty meal when youwantto try something new.
